The class itself was super boring and not very fun at all, but most people are required to take it. Kaiping is very passionate and will make sure everyone has a solid understanding of the content. Lots of group projects if you arent into that.

Kaiping is a great person -- she brought a big smile to class every time, and has a strong passion for the course material. However, as a professor, she is unclear at times with instructions and how she presents things. The course itself is group-project heavy & at times can be rather boring/confusing, but I recommend it if you love RStudio!

She's a pretty good professor, she cares a lot about her students and works hard to ensure that you understand the concepts and do well in her class. Sometimes she isn't great at explaining complex concepts, but she's happy to work with you outside of class to understand.
