This is one of my favorite classes! I've loved every class with this prof even though the subjects aren't something I'd usually like. Very easy class to learn new tech tools without having the stress of STEM class teaching styles. Prof is very accessible and well versed in the subject, and he's very understanding with his students. A good one!

I took two courses with him this semester, and I personally like him so much!! I'd say he is one of the best professors I've ever met at UW-Madison. If you want to learn more about the materials, he could provide much more information and help. If you just want to pass the course, it's quite easy to pass! Highly recommend!!!

He always replies our questions very quickly, and he is good at explaining things. However, this course is kind of hard for me since I have no programming exprience about text mining.
