About this rating

Raw average: 4.67/5 from 6 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

Passionate and enthusiastic (very animated!) in a way that makes even tough lectures entertaining! Friendly, checks in with class often. Offers lots of extra credit/easy ways to earn points. Lectures are well-prepared and slideshows are super well made, makes it easy to understand difficult concepts. Offers good test prep/review. Would take again!

Prof Weber was super interested in evolutionary bio and it showed in his lectures. He was also passionate about his research. Although his lectures were engaging and he told good stories it was really hard to decipher what content was important. He gives a huge extra credit project but it does take time to complete so start early.

Dr Weber is one of my favorite professors. It was his first semester teaching this class and he was extremely flexible with fixing bugs in the class and listening to student feedback. He is so passionate about evolution, his energy and enthusiasm makes it like Hank Green is teaching the class.

As an anthropology major, this class was crazy hard - but Professor Weber (and his awesome TA Trey!) made it worth it! Lectures were required, but if they werent, I would still go everyday. They were super engaging, and Professor Weber always brought in cross disciplinary topics to keep us engaged.
