Jean is a great professor. You can tell she really cares about our learning and success. Attendance is more or less mandatory (graded clicker questions every day), exams are tricky, and she goes kind of fast through the slides. Great class though, and great professor; I learned a lot.

She is very knowledgable and makes lectures fun. You do really have to work hard to earn a good grade, but she is always available for questions. She made me interested in Human Resources, where I wasn't before! I can say she had been one of my favorite professors in the b school!

It wasn't the easiest class, but Prof Grube was very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. Clicker questions were hard if you didn't do the reading prior to class, so if I have a suggestion for anyone taking the class in the future it would be to make sure to keep up with the readings every week.

Jean is a professor who obviously loves what she does. Her class is challenging but you learn a lot. If you go into her office hours she is more than willing to help. My advice is to stay on top of the readings and attend lecture; that's where you will learn the most and what she usually tests from/expects on cases.

The best advice I have for anyone taking this class is not to study for the exams because no matter how much you study you will not do well. That being said, you do learn a lot of useful information in this class. Also, Prof. Grube is very disorganized and attendance is pretty much mandatory.

Overall great class. I thought that it was very manageable. If you put in the work, you will do well. Clicker questions are helpful. The slides are a little disorganized. Some of the exam questions focused too much from certain chapters that weren't covered in great depth in lecture.
