Often absent in her own class, and does not take questions well. Frequently ignored protected disability accommodations for students, and was difficult to reach outside of class.

Emily is amazing! In the beginning she's definetly a bit intimidating, but once you get to know her, she's an amazing resource that pushes you to evolve your art in new ways. She really pushed me hard to find new creativity, and I felt like a new artist after taking that class. Love her!

Great with feedback and open to questions! Very fair grader and takes into account the trial and error process of the work. Demonstrations are long but clear, and the rest of the time you just work on your projects. You'll need to come in outside of class, but not a lot if you're productive. Very personable and organized with assignments too.

Emily was an excellent instructor. I was brand new to printing and her passion for the art was contagious. She's very open to feedback, so share your thoughts at the end of class if you're interested in improving the overall experience. Overall, I very much enjoyed her class.
