Very interesting class, need to attend lectures but the midterm and final are both online and Prof. Kennedy is a very engaging lecturer.

Easiest class I have taken. You dont need to attend lectures but have to attend discussion sections. Total of less than 10 assignments through the whole semester, 2 online-open note mid terms, NO FINAL, 1 major essay assignment. You can skim through the readings and have an idea during discussions.

Lectures aren't mandatory, but he doesn't write much on the slides he posts so if you want details you have to attend (often not necessary, but helpful for quizzes or discussion). Participation is important for discussion, and your grade consists of a few large assignments that get mediocre feedback.

You do not really have to go to lecture to do well in this class, he posts all the slides. You do have to go to the discussion but isn't that bad. Overall pretty easy class.

Professor Kennedy is awesome! Lectures were not required (you could probably get the idea from the slides that he posted and what is discussed in readings/discussions), but they were very interesting! Discussions are graded on quality of participation and you can miss up to 2 sections with no grade deductions. Overall, very interesting class!
