About this rating

Raw average: 3.00/5 from 3 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

For much of the class he goes at a slower pace and explains well and the quizzes and practice exam are deceptively easy. However, the week before the exam he rushes through very dense material that is ultimately most of what the test is about and the test is much, much more difficult than what you were expecting. Needs to even it out more.

David is an amazing professor who simplified really complex material. Although his exam was the hardest out of the 3, it involved relatively little memorization and focused more on application. The in-class demos were useful, and lectures were light. Office hours were helpful for understanding potential exam questions, and he brought cookies!

Exams based on lectures so reading textbook is optional. He is a nice guy and does a decent job of teaching the material, which can be kind of hard depending on your background (if you have learned similar material in other classes youll be fine). However, his exams had all of the above and select all that apply questions, which i personally hate.
