Dan Thoma is an awesome professor. Very important to go to lecture, he gives pop quizzes sometimes, they're super easy but are only able to be done in person. Turning things in on time is important. Very knowledgeable, accessible, charismatic, and a great professor overall. The lectures were well-organized and engaging. This course was also quite easy compared to other materials science courses.
