Did not do so hot on the first two exams. Met with him and offered me the opportunity to change my overall grade according to how I did on my final. Got an A on the final and never honored that agreement. Very full of himself and hard to reason with.Rate My Professors ↗

Boydston is an really good professor that makes a tough class like Ochem 1 much easier to learn. The class is graded mainly on 3 take home quizzes and 4 exams. The lectures are easy to follow and even if not, Boydston is very approachable during his office hours. The exams are hard but as long as you put in the effort then you will do well!Rate My Professors ↗
Fantastic guy. Seemed like he really cared, easily the best professor I've ever had.Rate My Professors ↗
The best professor I've had at UW so far. He is so kind and overall an amazing guy! His office hours were super helpful. However, taking his class and then going into the "quad" of professors for 345 (since he doesn't teach 345) was a big adjustment, so be aware of that, but regardless I think it is worth it to have him teach 343Rate My Professors ↗
Proof Boydston is amazing. He is great at explaining concepts. His tests are more conceptual which I appreciate. He once got everyone donuts to celebrate cyclohexanes and our test scores. He also hosts office hours sometimes before exams over the weekends which were super helpful! I cannot recommend this professor enough truly the best!!Rate My Professors ↗
I love Boydston so much. Genuinely one of the most caring professor's I've ever had. He really wants his students to do well. Hard material but he explained everything really well and put it all in simpler terms.Rate My Professors ↗
