Professor Bronkhorst explains topics concepually, and not just mathematically. He pauses frequently during lectures to ask if students have any questions, so I don't know why people are saying he "refuses to answer questions". I would avoid him as a professor if at all possible. He seems to go above and beyond in being harsh to students. Don't ask a question if you don't want a mocking remark or question in return.
