Bruce is a great researcher/Econometrician but not a good Professor/teacher who is supposed to mold students, get the best out of them and help them achieve their ambitions coz he simply doesn't care about students. He secretly writes "not recommended" in your reference letter. He openly mocks UWM students as "incapable" of going to ivy league.

He usually teaches the PhD econometrics sequence and methods courses, so he really knows the material, but he was very good at explaining the material at an undergraduate level. Very rewarding, marketable skills learned in this class, a lot of applied work with time-series data. Probably the most useful class you could take after Econ 410.

Professor Hansen is amazing. Honestly, his forecasting class is the most useful economics course I've taken to boost my resume. He grades very leniently, his exams are relatively easy and you get to do a really cool final project. This is a nice class to take if you need a stress-free (and interesting!) course.
