He is somehow not professional. He talked so many things unrelated to the course at any time in the lecture. He assigned a lot of homework but most of them are useless. The exams are extremely hard. I got every midterm and final better than average and I still got a BC at last. Do not take his stat310, for your own sake.Rate My Professors ↗

Best professor ever. Excited about the material, funny, helpful if you ask. Take a class with him if you can!Rate My Professors ↗
Bret is a great guy! He gives very clear explanations during lectures. The exams are not very difficult as long as you read the textbook and review your notes after class. Highly recommend.Rate My Professors ↗
Don't be late to class or he will stop lecturing to call you out. He's really passionate about statistics and his lectures are really engaging. I enjoy this class better than 309.Rate My Professors ↗
Bret is a great teacher and really cares about the material and helping you learn. However, the class is very, very difficult.Rate My Professors ↗
Stat310 is a very difficult course but I found Bret to be very helpful and overall a great professor. He writes extremely difficult tests, but sets a good curve. Clear explanations, great lecture notes, and it's easy to follow along as long as you actually study/review between lectures and try to follow along (which is expected in any math course)Rate My Professors ↗
