Professor Brown does a wonderful job with this course. Attendance is not required, but I highly recommend going to every class. She makes lectures very engaging, and if you attend and take notes, it is much easier to complete the 2 papers and 2 exams. She is a good lecturer and I really appreciated how she implemented class participation into lecture. Attendance isn't mandatory but she doesn't post slides and you need the info from the slides in order to do well.
