Very nice instructor!Rate My Professors ↗
Alberto knows what he is talking about. All of his slides come straight from the text book, but he somehow makes it more confusing than the textbook. Reading the textbook is easier than understanding his lectures. Midterms were not difficult but final was ridiculously difficult. Told us it had the same format as midterms but did not.Rate My Professors ↗
Very difficult class. I think Prof. Alberto is great and he is very passionate about the topics. The class is just too hard and there is a lot to remember and understand. Exams were not too difficult. I barely spend anytime on this class and was able to get an AB. HWs were very difficult and I would recommend spend a lot of time studying.Rate My Professors ↗
He uses slides to give lectures. Sometimes too fast and sometimes too slow. Assignments are hard but you can work in group. Exams are easier than homework.Rate My Professors ↗
Prof. Del Pia provides great intuition for proofs that are actually quite deep and difficult to understand. He is very encouraging of asking questions in class, and responds to all of them in great detail, no matter how basic. It's a pity that the pandemic turned the second half of this class online but it was still great!Rate My Professors ↗
