  • Recognize the influence of scope and standards of practice, ethics, and healthcare policies and laws on nursing practice.

  • Discuss the nurse’s role in evaluating system effectiveness and decision-making to improve healthcare quality and safety, and health outcomes in the delivery of patient care across the continuum of care using evidence and clinical judgment.
