Macroscopic theory: laws and fundamental equations of thermodynamics, chemical equilibria, phase equilibria, and kinetic theory of gases.

Prerequisties

(CHEM 116 , CHEM 327 , or CHEM 329 ), MATH 222 , and (PHYSICS 201 , PHYSICS 207 , or PHYSICS 247 ), or graduate/professional standing. Not open to students with credit for CHEM 565 or CHEM 665 .
