Very easy course and some fun material. Never studied, submitted all work on-time and comfortably landed an A. Doesn't get better than that!Rate My Professors ↗

I am a one credit student. Very kind and nice and careful teacher! Although the content of bioacoustic was hard, the quiz had a low weight, and we can explain the ideas in detailed to receive a high score in the quiz! The participation way was interesting! There were two group projects (one credit student) which I thought were hard, but we did it!Rate My Professors ↗
Zuzana is extremely nice and wants students to succeed. There's an attendance grade, 2 500 word essays, 2 exams, 2 projects. The class covers concepts useful for higher-level classes in the environmental studies major, and this is probably one of the easiest science courses on campus. I've never felt stressed about my grade, 80-100% is an ARate My Professors ↗
Completely unclear and inconsistent grading guidelines and strange grading scale. Just don't bother taking this class unless you actually care about the material.Rate My Professors ↗
Prof Zuzana seems super passionate about what she does and it shows in her teaching. She presented a new subject on conservation every week, and never forced a certain way of thinking. We were able to decide what we thought based on trade-offs and evidence. I became much better and reading scientific papers and evidence in this class.Rate My Professors ↗
