Overall an ok and funny professor but would assume you weren't in class and didn't look at his asterisk slides if you got a question wrong and wanted an explanation on it. The grading for the case studies was easy but tests were a little harder. Also posted the rate my professor in front of the class when it was made which I though was a little odd

George is a great and inspirational teacher. Very approachable and nice sense of humor. During lecture he gives students time to think about questions without giving away answers right away. The case study prompts have been very wordy/confusing and challenging to fit on one page, but he is fair in grading them. ***ALSO he's in FWE dept, not biology

Professor Meindl wants the class to learn and be passionate about the right things! It is evident that he cares and gives us the right tools to be successful!

George is a fantastic professor. I was in both his Forest Ecology class and the separate lab associated with the class and I wish I had the chance to take more classes with him. Very accessible and willing to help. He gives a few different extra credit chances throughout the semester and is also very passionate about what he is teaching, fantastic!

Lectures are posted online, but some slides (he calls them asterisk slides) you have to be in class to get them. Super nice and caring guy, he let me submit things for partial credit if I forgot to hand it in. Does random top hats, so I would go to class when you can. Lectures are interesting. There are 6 cases/papers which are also interesting.

Professor Meindl is extremely passionate about the class subject and has engaging lectures. The workload for this class is extremely reasonable and adds to the lecture content.
