IDK how Zongfu was for lower level courses, but as a grad student, Zongfu was a TERRIFIC 742 lecturer. Overall a great class, he elegantly boils down the core concepts and gives the knowledge you need at a great, easy pace so that you can 1) understand how commercial products work and 2) write your own code if you want to. The most boring lectures I've ever had, and I've had many a boring lecture. Couldn't get myself to go to class because he was so boring. Talks in monotone the whole time. He posts the notes online afterwards, but they are impossible to understand. He's a nice guy tho!Rate My Professors ↗
Doesn't explain concepts, just writes proofs for things that you don't know. Unorganized. Started off the first day of class with "Now I know most of you don't want to be here but this class is required so...".
