Made the class really easy to understand by having us do all the same things each week. The only downside is you have to go to the lecture meeting basically just for attendance. The class only really took about an hour outside of class a week, which is where you do most of the work. John is also fun to talk to overall he has a ton of experience.

Wasn't an easy class, but Booske was by far the most helpful and accessible professor I had during the online COVID semester. Replied to all my emails in less than an hour, and even took personal time out of his night to meet with me once when I was struggling. He was always eager to help and very friendly. Easily the best professor I've had yet.

Really a fantastic professor. I was skeptical about the flipped classroom format going in, but he totally sold me on it. Problem sets are pretty similar to example problems and thus fairly easy, but are very effective at teaching you to do the problems. The class is fairly easy, but you still have to work for it by doing the problem sets.

Professor Booske is amazing. He's really very clear and takes the time to reply to you and make sure you understand the material. 219 is pretty easy, the questions are usually constructed to be easy to solve, but may look intimidating. If you get a question wrong, it's easy to figure out what you missed. But here's the thing, find out why.

Video lectures can get pretty boring and slow, doesn't allow you to fast forward or play at a higher speed. Class itself is very easy, and he gives you plenty of chances to get an A.

He's a very helpful and good professor as helping students.

He's a good teacher at what he teaches but his examples tend to be very simplified so you may get confused when doing real problems. Tests are basically if you have the equations you're find, if you miss one on your sheet you're probably in trouble.

He was very clear, very helpful, very approachable during office hours. Electrostatics is hard, you probably won't be able to learn on your own; he helps a lot. I would definitely take another class with him teaching.

He presented with online lectures, which you have to watch in addition to going to class. Had daily quizzes in class, which were helpful overall. I had no interest in electro magnetics before this class. Now I'm actually interested.

Very helpful prof. and tests usually mimic homework assignments. Homework isn't bad just go ask him for help

Teaches very well, but does assign a lot of work. This could be a viewed as a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it.

Very good professor who explains everything well

Good teacher. Good notes and hand writing. Explains the concepts and material well. Weekly homework assignments and non-graded online quizes help to furthur understanding of material and concepts.
