Comparing her slides to the other professor's just showed me how much difficulty she added to the class because of her teaching style. The entire time, she would just be reading massive blocks of R code or reading formulas instead of saying anything useful or informative. Lecture is just her reading off the slides, she provides no meaningful examples to deepen your understanding of the material, and the homework is absolutely nothing like the exams. Lectures are worthless, many of them only took 60% of the allotted time. With tough materials such as present in STAT340, she should really be taking the full amount of time. Lectures were nothing special. She doesn't do live coding, and in that regard I liked Bi better (I had him for STAT240). Exams are fair and not too difficult. I attended almost all the lectures, but you definitely wouldn't have to (there are posted recordings and lecture notes).Rate My Professors ↗
