Easiest section of the class, less memorizing than bio/archaeological. You need to read the classical readings text, but not the other book. The material is all on the slides so it's easy to understand what you need to know. He is a friendly professor, and when I walked out of the final exam he even asked me how it went!

Talks fast and is hard to understand. All the info is on the slides so understanding him isn't that big of a deal. Boring class but he tries to make it fun and get people to participate. Super nice guy.

The most boring really. I don't know if it was Prof. Zhou or the curriculum for anthro 104, but it really was a snooze-fest. The only plus side was that it covered ethnic & international studies. Also, it was only two regular lectures and a discussion for 3 credits, so there wasn't a whole lot of in-class time.

I recommend not taking this class for ethnic studies. I did all the readings and still did bad in the class. The exams are based on the readings and not on lecture, so it's pointless to go. This class is definitely too hard only for a gen ed course.
