Prof. Schroeder is SO SO nice and personable, she always says hi to me when I see her in the hall. Super open to discussion and answering questions people have. I took this class as part of the FIG, we discussed LONG readings which were not explained as well as they could be. Lots of research for papers too.

Professor Schroeder is kind and attentive to students' needs. She's willing to grant extensions on the papers assigned. Our class also had some impromptu field trips, which was a nice experience. However, she assigns many journal articles as readings, which can be difficult for freshmen.

Hard to distinguish in lecture on what is relevant for what you will be tested on and what is just material she is passionate on. Hard to miss her lectures as they are mostly all pictures.

Professor Schroeder is great. She cares for her students and genuinely respects them and their time. Class is pretty essay and test heavy, with almost no other assignments, however (at least for this specific class), they are graded pretty lightly.
