dont even bother going to lectures since he cannot lecture at all. The project worth 40% of your grade will have no rubric and incredibly vague instructions that he will not clarify but will still hold you to. Bro didn't even put the project grades or the final exam grades on canvas so I don't even know how I scored. Dont take this class

Honestly the professor himself is pretty nice; however, when it comes to the exam, I had no clue what is going in while studying for it. Not much workload for the whole semester, and if you understand the concept in the lecture it is not too bad. I wouldn't say highly recommend this class, but if you really want to take it it's still doable.

Really not good at giving lectures. You will be more confused after listening to him. Also grading is arbitrary and not clear. Avoid.

Arbitrary grading: did not ever give us a rubric for the group project even when people asked him too on Piazza. His syllabus looks like he made it in 5 minutes on google docs. Lectures were impossible to follow and instead of ever explaining himself he would always say "check the slides". Worst professor I've had in my 4 years at UW.
