similar report as other classes; professor often made his grad student teach, and wasn't particularly more clear than the book at explaining the material (which he followed exactly at a slow pace). Selected homework on the spot in class from the easiest problems in the section. Exams were a regurgitation of the book and homework. Ended up skipping.Rate My Professors ↗

Prof. Chen went to class probably less than I did. He was always at least 5 minutes late, or he had his grad students teach for him. Homework was never collected, he didn't understand the material, and because of his poor teaching skills, the grader gave everyone at least a BC. I like him, he's a nice, jolly guy, but he is a poor teacher.Rate My Professors ↗

he copys from the book. Exams are sometime exactly the same as the text . I went to lecture once. He is soooo disorganized. But If you do your homework and memorize the textbook you will be just fineRate My Professors ↗

No point in going to lecture. Homework was harder than the exams. I got an A by going through the examples in the textbook before exams and that was it.Rate My Professors ↗

I swear this man bathes in chalk...Lectures are pretty rough and the linear algebra stuff is true. Tests aren't terrible but a little tricky. Read the book and it's not too bad.Rate My Professors ↗

He derives proofs and may do a few examples, which he pulls strait out of the book. I stopped going to lecture because I might as well just read the book. Otherwise, he's a humorous good hearted guy who doesn't really care that much about teaching us linear algebra.Rate My Professors ↗
