About this rating

Raw average: 4.50/5 from 2 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

Professor Schmitz-Siebertz was passionate and cared. She obviously loved her subject and teaching it. She made everything very clear and easy to understand. There was a lot of memorization, but that is to be expected in a language class. The hardest part is that she does have a set number of classes you can miss before your grade is affected.

Prof. Schmitz-Siebertz is passionate about Latin, and wants students to also be excited about Ovid/Metamorphoses. There's lots of HW and quizzes, but they are all fair. I took a year off of Latin before taking 203, but Prof. Schmitz-Siebertz made it easy to jump right back in. Recommended!
