I was Tina's TA 10+ years ago, so I had visibility to her attitude toward many students, not just my own experience. Please heed reviewers' repeated reviews regarding her responses to serious circumstances. Unfortunately, things happen, and you don't want to depend on her response when they do. What I witnessed disturbs me over a decade later.

Lectures were pointless, she basically just reads off the slides. Tests were difficult sometimes. Memorization is key. She'll post slides afterward, but only half of the content. Tests are pretty much all from book content but slides in-class are helpful. No attendance but then people started not going so she added it as extra credit at end of sem.

Everything that is tested will be in the textbook, Dr. Winston's lectures are incredibly boring and focus on details that will never be tested. I started doing better in the class when I stopped attending lectures

Saw the previous ratings and was lowkey scared taking her class. But I was in her honors section too, and shes really nice and answers any questions you might have. The exams aren't very hard, they're very similar to exams for any of the other psych classes. I would say focus more on her lectures, though. If you are good at memorization, you're set

Tina gets way too much hate. While lectures are pretty boring, she is passionate about social psych and presents helpful studies. The topic matter isn't rocket science, she does what she can with the course content. The exams are fair, and it is not hard to get an A in this class. Don't listen to these reviews, she's a nice old lady!

Lectures were pretty boring and disengaging, but grading and exams were not difficult. Some strange wording on some, but overall, she was very nice and always stopped for questions. Wouldn't recommend, but she is not terrible.
