The best ESL118 teacher ever. The course is heavy workload, but Tim makes it managebale. He's always available to answer question after class, and he really cares about students!.. Definitely recommend to take his class!!

Tries to make class engaging so you are not just pointlessly sitting around. Most of the classes are group work which is quite useful. Provides great feedback to papers and is a very generous grader if you follow his comments (or not, very flexible). Very flexible with deadlines (just ask him, he would almost never say no) and very caring. 11/10!

A really really good instructor. Can give you an extension. Don't give up on the class yet. It is not hard when your instructor tries so hard.

The best English instructor so far. Not only he's funny, but he also helps a lot. Just do what he asks you to do and you'll guarantee get the A. He will always give you advices on what to do and not to do. Don't ignore him.

Tim is absolutely amazing. I've always heard great things about him and decided to take his class in the summer. I'm positive at least 9 out of 10 students in class appreciate how thoughtful and understanding he is. He always knows what to say to motivate and help build students' confidence whenever needed.
