Susan Dominguez is objectively the worst professor I have had in my time at UW. Her assignments are worth very few points, and small mistakes are penalized. In my experience, she has a profound lack of respect for students and was extremely condescending when asked questions. It is quite a bummer because the course material is interesting.Rate My Professors ↗

A terribly run class with confusing instructions that won't she wouldn't even explain on. The content of this class was unbelievably great, but the way that we were dissecting the readings was unbearable. She asked for things to see in papers, but then took away points for adding that exact thing.Rate My Professors ↗
She can be a little unconventional at times and not play by the books (which is funny because the class I took with her is about literature.) Nevertheless, at least for her Gen Ed class, just be respectful and put in effort, and take pride in your work, and you should be able to succeed!Rate My Professors ↗
Not sure how people have such negative reviews, I had a completely different experience. She is one of the kindest teachers I have had and has gone out of her way to help me. The lectures are boring but if you just show up you get all the points. Same with the exams, she tells you what to do, and if you just follow directions you will do well.Rate My Professors ↗
The worst professor I have ever gotten. I went to ask why her TA had marked me down on my paper and she made up random criteria that was not in the assignment to justify it and when I probed further, was extremely rude and demeaning. Assignments are very unclear and she makes no effort to explain them.Rate My Professors ↗
she's an engaging professor, but she's particularly harsh on students and uses the 'old age' card to get away with it. Even walking up to her and asking her a doubt/correction error or literally anything was a scary experience because her responses were kinda passive aggressive and standoffish. Overall an interesting professor, though.Rate My Professors ↗
