Best math teacher i've ever had! Accent is no problem. He will take all the necessary time to get students to understand the material. Grading curve is very fair. Put in the time and you will get an A. Take this professor and you won't regret it.

Easy A. He explains concepts well, is helpful and has good handwriting (which is a plus). He did make mistakes on the board most classes, which can be annoying when trying to learn something new. Exams are short so you are not rushed. Quizzes with my TA were open-note and he was also helpful, even though his accent could be difficult to understand

I went in to this class looking for a watered down calculus. After already taking calc in HS, I thought I would do well in this very basic, introductory class. I got an AB when I should have easily gotten an A. Mehrotra's grading policy was ridiculous. His TAs were terrible, and he was sometimes unclear in lecture.

He spends a lot of time helping students and explains concepts clearly. He is very personable, approachable, and patient, and will help anyone who asks. I would definitely take more classes from him if I had a chance!
