I love Dr Klocke and would gladly take a class with her again. She is interesting, easy to talk to and cares about her students. The books assigned for this literature class were interesting and meaningful. Her class is not difficult if you read the books and come to class ready to participate/discuss.Rate My Professors ↗

Sonja is amazing. She's very knowledgeable about the material and is easy to talk to if you have questions. Most books we read were actually interesting and kept your attention. Make sure to attend class and participate; its part of grade, along with presentations and paper. Discussions are very interesting and inclusive to everyone's point of viewRate My Professors ↗
I love Prof. Klocke! The class is very discussion-based, plan to read 100-200 pages a week of literature books in English. The class consists mainly of discussing the book. If you don't show up to class you have to write a 300-word paragraph about what you thought about the reading. There is one essay and a group project, overall great class.Rate My Professors ↗
I loved Prof. Klocke. She is the nicest lady and really cares about all of her students. GWS270 was also a great class. Assigned readings were reasonable in length and the books were all really interesting (but sometimes hard to understand). I would highly recommend her!Rate My Professors ↗
