great professor, exams weren't too difficult and I found myself interested in the content of the course not thinking that I would when I signed upRate My Professors ↗
Shelby is an awesome professor and HORT120 is a great biological science credit for not-sciencey people. Shelby offers lots of extra credit opportunities and makes study guides before the exams to help prepare. Overall, a very interesting and easy class that I always looked forward to. Shelby was incredible, definitely recommend!Rate My Professors ↗
She was super sweet, as well as the TAs. She makes the study guide questions to be super close to the question as the exams, which makes it really nice for studying. There are attendance quizzes, but you can easily do the lecture notes from home if there isn't a quiz that day.Rate My Professors ↗
Shelby is very kind. Occasional participation quizzes to make sure you're showing up. Overall an Easy class, 60% of your grade is just showing up and completing occasional assignments/lab. Exam wasn't too difficult, you can cram the day before and be fine.Rate My Professors ↗
