His lectures are pretty confusing, but every now and then he would make a little math joke and that's why he's not a 1. Definitely check if there's a better prof out there, but if he's your only option, he's not completely terrible. Definitely be prepared to watch a lot of Khan academy.Rate My Professors ↗

Professor Bolotin is an okay professor, but he never made me understand the material clearly. The lectures were hard to sit through but he would crack a joke every once in a while. This class just was not for me.Rate My Professors ↗

From what I've heard, one of the better calc 3 profs. Nice guy, doesn't take himself too seriously, and his accent is not too hard to understand. Lectures were pretty clear but I found taking my own notes on the textbook more helpful than going to them. Exam questions and grading were fair. A good TA is important if you haven't taken calc 3 before.Rate My Professors ↗

The class itself was fairly brutal. 20% of the grade was 2 midterms, and 40% was the final. Dr. Bolotin was knowledgeable about the material. The lectures were very proof heavy so students knew why they were doing it, but they were never on the exams. Overall, the course material was difficult, but it was doable.Rate My Professors ↗

Bolotin is a great professor who builds upon the textbook using examples (often from homework due later that week) to solidify understanding. He does proofs in class, but the tests aren't proof-based. The final exam is worth 40%. Exam grading is very clear. You quickly get used to his Russian accent. The homework load is extremely manageable.Rate My Professors ↗

Sergei is a good-natured, seemingly reserved fellow whose puns may go over your head until you get used to his light accent. He is a professor that clearly understands how calculus should be taught to less experienced audiences. Pay attention during lecture and you will learn the intuitive reasoning behind the way Calc 3s challenges are solved.Rate My Professors ↗
