Professor Bishop is an incredibly kind and insightful person, and always organizes great class discussion. The readings can be a bit heavy, but as long as you keep up with the work the class is easy. Overall I had a really fun time in this class and highly recommend it for an english credit.Rate My Professors ↗

As long as you did your work (which was very manageable), you were able to get a very high A. I loved his class, it was fun and straightforward.Rate My Professors ↗

This class is marketed as a literature class, but it can be argued that it is more a creative writing class. The main focus of this course is to write in a journal (almost everyday), along with in class discussions about the readings, among other things. You do not have to do everything to get an A and Sean is an amazing professor. 100% recommend!Rate My Professors ↗

I took "The Writer's Notebook" section of ENGL 169 with Sean. It was a creative writing class focused on journaling and it was amazing. You did not have to do every aspect of the class to get an A. Sean was an engaging teacher who didn't care about the quality of your writing, but focused on making you a better writer.Rate My Professors ↗

Sean was a great professor for our class on Literary Publishing. He cared so much about helping us succeed in this field. He really wants us to do well. The content was super engaging and interesting. He always made us laugh, too. I appreciate how realistic he was, but how much he believed in us, too.Rate My Professors ↗
