If you're looking for a sign to take a course taught by Professor Wells - this is it. She is such an amazing professor who cares about her students and the material that we discuss. Note: I had her for ENGL141 Her lectures were so boring that I could not focus on them. Also, all of the books she made us read were tragic and had children, dogs, and any life form conceivable being tortured in every possible way you could imagine. Professor Wells is easily one of my favorite professors I have had at UW thus far. While the class was more work than anticipated, Wells truly cares about engaging and stimulating student interest in the content. Professor Wells is so kind and intelligent and incredibly passionate about the material she lectures on. She is great at guiding your thinking, introducing new perspectives, and then enjoying the new avenues you take to explore these different perspectives.
