Best prof I've had at UW! The language is tough, but Salah made it easy to learn. His enthusiasm, even via Zoom, keeps me going. Willing to give students second chances. Encourages participation and kindly corrects mistakes. You have to put the work in bc it's a 5-credit language class, but it's definitely worth it!Rate My Professors ↗
Salah is the BEST teacher I've ever had in my life in any subject. He is incredibly funny, bubbly, & talented in teaching foreign languages. He lights up the room and gets everyone excited to be there and learn, class is SO fun, made the 5 days a week more than bearable. By far UW's best Arabic teacher, seriously missing out if you don't have him.
I was fortunate enough to have Salah for two semester of Arabic at Madison and cannot say enough good things. He is an incredibly kind and enthusiastic person and a gifted teacher.
