Said is the one professor that inspires me to continue in Arabic. Yes, he's hard, but it is worth it, and it's not impossible. He pushes but in such a caring way, and he is quite funny (has a great sarcastic side). His heart is in teaching, and he is no less than excellent. Said was a great Arabic instructor! I learned more in this one semester of Arabic than I did in three of Spanish. be ready for class every day and about an hour of homework every night, but if you are truly interested in this language, I highly recommend this class and Said as an instructor.Rate My Professors ↗
Way too much busywork, especially with vocab. Couldn't really study how I wanted to because I had to do the work he was giving us instead. Really bad about giving us our assignments in a timely manner (ex: get emails at 1am on a Sunday with a ton of homework for Monday).Rate My Professors ↗
