It's obvious that she is passionate about SW, but her 2nd job is to make students hate SS if she "thinks" that they are not suit for it. She is blunt and honest, but heartless about her words too. Honestly, if you're a knowledgeable person, but you don't have the right attitude, please don't teach. She's not very culturally competent either.
I think at one time she really, honestly cared about people and thus got into social work. However, something has happened and she is now a truly terrible and tortured human being. Condescending and rude to her students, if you don't agree with her, you might as well have killed her dog. Really, it's time for her to get out..
I was excitedto be attending the UW School of SW and this woman ruined it for me. Completed self-absorbed, rude and judgemental. Pathetic that she is a social worker! AVOID AVOID AVOID!
Probably the worst professor I have ever had! She makes absolutely NO sense and is mentally unstable. She is completely unwilling to listen to anyone's opinion but her own, and it takes her up to six weeks to return graded papers. The School of Social Work should do the program a favor and get rid of her!
SOCWORK 656 explores out-of-home care and permanency in child welfare, covering foster care, kinship care, and adoption from local, state, and national perspectives.
