About this rating

Raw average: 2.77/5 from 91 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

ECON 441
Quality 5/5Difficulty 3/5
Knowledgeable and approachable professor. Fantastic canvas course, full of review material for every chapter, and extremely clear expectations for the exams. I think the reviews complaining about the difficult exams are likely from people who didn't show up to class or open the canvas course.

Her Canvas is incredibly organized and well constructed. She provides lots of extra practice problems for each unit. She cares about each and every one of her students.

Quality 4/5Difficulty 3/5
Interesting lectures and is good at explaining complicated material. Has a ton of helpful resources like videos and study guides to help you study outside of class, so there is really no reason not to do well in the class

ECON 441
Quality 5/5Difficulty 2/5
There is no excuse for doing poorly in this class. Each chapter has a study guide and practice problems attached. Between that and the weekly problems sets all should prepare you for the tests. I though she was very nice and truly tried her best to make everything comprehensible. She was always available during office hours or to talk after class.

ECON 101
Quality 1/5Difficulty 4/5
The course was boring and the teaching was average. There was too much content, and the exams were too many and too hard. Since exams counted for most of the grade, it was very hard to get a good score. At one point, it made me not want to continue studying economics.

ECON 101
Quality 4/5Difficulty 2/5
Her lectures can be pretty boring, which can be a turn off at first, but she honestly explains things super thoroughly and is insanely helpful during office hours. She provides tons of materials for you to study from. Go to office hours and read the textbook and you will be set.
