If you are not studying invertebrate biology, do not take this class. He makes it incredibly difficult and SO dense. The amount of material you are expected to know is unrealistic without prior knowledge of the subject. He is hard to pay attention to during lectures, but it is very important to listen to his words rather than his slides.

Gives great lectures and is good at putting on a friendly, personable front, but behind the scenes talks badly about his students and is very disrespectful.

The best professor of the Bio 152 class! Material is pretty easy, and he is well prepared with his lecture and discussion material. Textbook readings were not necessary for his unit. Thanks to review materials, you know exactly what to expect for the exam.

Dr. Sharma speaks very fast during lecture and he often goes on a tangent, so it is difficult in what we needed to know for the exam. His lectures are boring and is hard to keep up as he just keeps on talking. However, he provides practice sets, which helps us study for the exam.

He was my favorite of the three lecturers for BIO152, and was very clear about what was going to be on the test. He would sometimes go on tangents but they were interesting and he made it clear that the very in depth content would not be on the test.

I would never recommend prof Sharma's class to anyone. He is incredibly boring and presents the material in a disorganized way making it extremely difficult to understand what you do and do not need to know. His assignments are unnecessarily difficult and long. They are very unaccommodating course coordinators in biology 152, avoid this class.
