There is a lot of pre-class work in this class. Professor Kim is pretty good. Sometimes it seems like he is pretending to be excited. Kim is a fair grader and you will learn a lot in this class. Participation is weighted heavily, so be prepared to have to listen to your classmates waste your time with pointless comments.Rate My Professors ↗
Not sure what all these negative comments are about; Prof. Kim is a great instructor! His projects are challenging, and he expects a lot from his students, but he's a fantastic resource for any budding entrepreneurs-or if you're just curious about business, management, or human resources.Rate My Professors ↗
It's abundantly clear that the vast majority of professor kim's experience is in academia. He teaches rediculous concepts that have no application in the real world and wastes too much time on them. In addition, his expectations in terms of prep work for each class are beyond absurd. Assigns too much busy work that provides no educational value.Rate My Professors ↗
Ridiculous prof. He is teaching subject material that most people could grasp by reading wikipedia for an hour or two rather than taking his class. Applies meaningless "theories" to "entrepreneurship". I guess he doesn't understand the difference between joke classes (which he teaches) and hard classes. Which ironically makes him a joke! Stay away
This professor is not that good. Some of his policies and expectations are rediculous, which made 25 ppl dropped his class after the first class. His assignments are not very clear, he is a boring guy, and not cool at all. I recommend you take MHR 422 with Phil Greenwood during the Spring. 434 is a great class to take with Kim. I also had him for 422, and I enjoyed both. You will read some very interesting books, and learn basic entrepreneurship principles. Don't be turned off by his somewhat carefree style outside of class. Good class; take it with Kim.Rate My Professors ↗
