Professor Choy was a great professor, and had a strong personality focused on creating a community in the classroom, thoughtful reflection processes, and showing appreciation. Worst professor in my four years. Completely condescending; more focused on asserting herself as an expert than teaching. The worst professor I've had in four years. Her grading is inconsistent, and directions are vague, leaving students confused. She penalizes students for leaving class early but leaves early herself. I loved her class and it was easy to get an A. Instructions can be unclear at times so make sure you ask if confused. Sometimes forgets to update or post assignments on canvas ahead of time.
