About this rating

Raw average: 2.50/5 from 4 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

Quality 2/5Difficulty 5/5
He gave the class PPT's for each topic. However, the ppt's were not at all comprehensive. Hard to understand what he teaches and believe me, this ain't just my problem but most of the students in my class had the same conplaints. The test is tough relative to what he has taught in class.

Sometimes unclear, but very nice overall, and willing to help you whenever needed.

Quality 2/5Difficulty 4/5
The first few weeks were easy to follow because Paul used his powerpoints and posted them online, but after a few weeks he stopped using them, and his lectures became random and hard to follow. He's a good guy, just doesn't spend enough time connecting points and answering questions. You will need a good TA or just read the textbook.

Quality 2/5Difficulty 4/5
Professor Paul is hard to understand, not because of his accent, but because he jumps around on concepts and does not finish problems after starting them. The concepts become jumbled and his powerpoint slides do not help for studying. He tends to focus on just a few things a lot but will test harshly on everything. You need a good TA for his class.
