About this rating

Raw average: 3.14/5 from 7 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

No proper sync between lectures. Giving random information expecting that everyone knows. Slides are unorganized most of the time. Every lecture presentation looks causal and unorganized

Padma is a fantastic lecturer, she had very clear lectures and tried her best to explain complicated stuff through examples. Loved the class in general and it was not super tough.

My roommate cried due to taking this class. Dr. Padma Gopalan: 1) Never replies to emails from her students 2) Ignores students feedback from in-class polls 3) Gives unkind, unconstructive, and belated comments on students presentation 4) in general does not seem to care and is unreachable

I really liked her class. She's smart. Takes interest in students and took the time to answer my questions even after office hours. I hope I can take some of her other classes too in future. As for accent, I didn't find it to be a big problem (who doesn't have an accent in US of A!!)
