Professor Halzen is amazing! She is really passionate about the phonetics behind the French language and really helped boost my confidence in speaking French! The class generally has a smaller size, so she is able to pay more attention to her students! Gosh, she is just one of my favorite professors! She's very attentive and has your best in mind, but DON'T skip class after class. She loves to make jokes and play in a way that make 50 minute class periods enjoyable and even fun.Rate My Professors ↗
I have never done so much work for french in my life and this was NOT my first french class at Madison. She really makes you work for your grade which sucks when you have 12 other science credits to deal with.Rate My Professors ↗
Best French professor yet. Advanced class was very intimidating at first but she is so helpful. She is very nice & wants you to improve your French. Her French is clear and she explains things well. She grades partly based on your individual improvement. I felt this class really improved my French but you definitely have to put work in to succeed.Rate My Professors ↗
She is a little intimidating at first but she's so great. The typical european teacher. She likes her students and makes little jokes. And you can tell she is genuinely interested in what she teaches. Her accent is impeccable and she is very helpful. Loved taking this class and loved her!
