Vlad is one of my favorite professors I've ever had. He's laid back and fun in class that makes participating much less intimidating and still feels like you're learning. Homework and exams always felt like just enough to help you learn, never felt annoying or too much to handle. Also 10/10 fashion taste

Professor Dima was super cool. He would assign readings and lectures to be completed in the first half of the week on your own time and then we would meet for a discussion for the second half of the week. Prepare by taking notes and then just listen and participate in group works for points. Straightforward and easy!

He was a great professor, made for an easy A class. The grade was made up of a midterm paper, final paper, and weekly discussion posts (1-2 sentences). The readings weren't challenging just try and stay on top of them.

Professor Dima is a one of a kind professor. His discussions are very engaging. Dima has a wonderful teaching style and is very kind. Coming to class felt like more like a respite from the day to day stress of college rather than an obligation. I highly suggest taking a course with Dima if you can!

Vlad is by far the best French teacher I've ever had. His lectures are engaging and hilarious, he's also incredibly passionate about discussing the topics of the class and makes the whole class interested. The class content (French 228) is something you don't want to miss! Wish I could take this class again.

AFRICAN 1002019-12-20

African 100 is a super easy course. Almost every week there are guest lecturers and then you have a quiz on the lectures in discussion and as long as you go to lecture you'll get the points. Besides quizzes the only other grades are the midterm and final which are take home and only have short answers and a two page essay each.
