Professor Marshall is an amazing teacher and all-around human. It's so clear that she not only cares about her students, but loves her job teaching. Professor Marshall is a very passionate professor who covers all aspects of art very well. The assignments were not too difficult, but were very thought provoking and enjoyable. The tests were a lot of memorization and not too stressful.Rate My Professors ↗
Prof Marshall is so kind towards her students, and the whole class was fun. Easy assignments, clear grading criteria, as long as you show up to lectures and discussions this class is an easy A. Professor Marshall is probably the best professor I have had at UW so far. She is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the material, and lectures are always fun and interesting. She was a great lecturer and passionate about the class. Her requirements for an 100 level class were too much (eg memorizing over 50 works and their details). Something I found annoying was that in exams there was no room for any personal interpretation. It was purely if we could guess the themes that she thought connected works.Rate My Professors ↗
