About this rating

Raw average: 1.94/5 from 88 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

treats students like elementary school kids, every assignment is busy work, barely taught anything. one assignment was literally about going online and finding when people misuse "i" instead of "me" and "me" instead of 'i"

Literally the worst class ever. So much unnessary work, and waste of time.

I enjoyed having her as a professor. As long as you are attentive to details on the assignments you will get a good grade. She is always understanding and available to help. A one-week extension was available for every assignment. She is very prompt responding to emails. I learned a lot from her course and enjoyed the asynchronous aspect of it.

PSYCH 532
Quality 2/5Difficulty 4/5
When trying to ask a question she just refers you back to the instructions or syllabus when I'm trying to have a conversation with her to actually understand. Her and the TAs were kind of condescending with the way they left feedback or if you had a question about your grade. Attendance for weekly group chats

I'm annoyed I could not critique her on the course evaluation. It is a class about the internet yet sources are from the 2010s. I got a 1/3 on an assignment because I had a small typo on my pdf file name. Once you get points off you get max 2/3 when fixed so its not worth. I genuinely learned nothing. Easy A if you do the work but waste of time.

She didn't offer ANY opportunities for critiques in course evals so I'm here instead. This class teaches you what the professor wants you to know from her ancient outdated internet opinions which are in no way relevant of remotely interesting. Hated every minute of every assignment of this class. RUN while you can.
