Monica is smart. She knows her subject well and from what I hear is a big contributor to her field. But her lectures are so boring. She made ecology seem so dry to me, and that's saying something considering I am interested in conservation. She's not bad, in fact her lectures are well put together; she's just painfully boring.Rate My Professors ↗

Ecology is, honestly, the most boring to me, and Monica didn't really change that. Her slides were essentially a bunch of examples that you didn't really have to know. Some of her exam questions are tricky, and others are just poorly written. She was nice though, and had different office hours from week to week so that everyone could make it in.Rate My Professors ↗
She is very nice. She follows along with the book exactly and posts study guides for each lecture. Ecology is not a hard topic, but she made her exam a little tricky. One word can flip the whole answer. So make sure you do the reading and know whats on her study guides to be fully prepared.Rate My Professors ↗
She is a very nice lady, I did not find her unit, ecology, particularly interesting, but I found that she was a good teacher of the topic. She was very helpful and approachable. Although I have not yet taken her exam, I do not anticipate that it will be very difficult. Good professor.Rate My Professors ↗
Her exam may be a little bit tricky - make sure you read the questions and think. The exam was pretty easy (83% average) I don't think going to lecture is necessary..but they may help you do well on the exam a little bit.. I also hoped she had more office hours - only had 3-4 during ecology session! Overall, she was a decent lecturer! Take her!!Rate My Professors ↗
Lectures were not the most interesting, but they did help answer a few exam questions the book couldn't. The exam was extremely easy (average was 85%). Information is very basic and sometimes common sense.Rate My Professors ↗
