Mohamed comes off very impatient. He is a hard grader and had made this class very hard. It was very hard to understand him most of the time with his thick accent and awful handwriting ... I wouldn't take a class with him againRate My Professors ↗
Okay so he is nice and very large hearted, but i felt that the second half of the class wasnt manageable and he went a little too fast. Also, he is very genuinely invested in the students success in the class.Rate My Professors ↗
Professor Elkhouly made this class very difficult. It was very hard to understand him or read his handwriting, which made up most of the lectures. If you do not have a tablet to pre-download his lecture slides and take notes on them coming into this class, it will be very hard to do well. Professor Elkhouly is an amazing professor. He wants his students to succeed and he creates a lot of opportunities for students to do well in the class. Can be a bit hard to understand at times and can come off as impatient but genuinely cares about his students and is a great teacher.Rate My Professors ↗
At first Mohamed was a bit difficult to understand. But after 2 weeks I started printing out lecture slides to take notes, and the class got way easier. He has such a big heart and genuinely wants his students to succeed. He offered extra credit for participation and he always made sure the exams were strictly material we had seen before. I <3 HIM
Professor Elkhouly was a decent professor. His lectures are okay, but a bit confusing at times. Highly recommend going to the discussion section. The exams are difficult (especially 2 and 3) and you need to go to class and study. Homework is time-consuming, but he and the TAs respond quickly to emailed questions.
